PAII Sends Letter to Secretary Wright on the AI Science Cloud

On September 16, the Partnership sent a letter to Secretary of Energy Chris Wright on the implementation of American science cloud established in Section 50404 of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The Partnership outlined four key principles for the implementation:

  1. Deliver fast, visible wins through a focused “sprint,” then scale

  2. Build a secure, interoperable, and upgradeable AI Science Cloud

  3. Govern through a DOE-led, interagency model that serves science,

    defense, and intelligence

  4. Pair public-private collaboration with strong U.S. safeguards
