Statement on America’s AI Action Plan

Washington, D.C. — The Partnership for AI Infrastructure issued the following statement on the White House’s release of America’s AI Action Plan:

“The Partnership for AI Infrastructure applauds the White House for releasing America’s AI Action Plan and charting the path to securing our nation’s global leadership in artificial intelligence. This national roadmap reflects the urgent need to invest in our AI capabilities across our federal agencies and national labs.

The Action Plan recognizes that unleashing the potential of AI will require significant investments in federal AI infrastructure and robust public-private partnerships. By promoting innovation and competition through the adoption of open, interoperable AI platforms, the Action Plan will enable government-wide access to cutting-edge AI systems for critical scientific and national security priorities.

The Partnership looks forward to working alongside policymakers, national laboratories, and federal agencies to realize the goals embodied in the Action Plan. Together, we can build an AI ecosystem that benefits the public good, protects our national interests, and sets American AI technologies as the global gold standard.”
